Technical Sales Support Agent
Adept is currently seeking an enthusiastic Technical Sales Support Agent to join our dynamic team at our Stellenbosch offices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive calls and distribute to the relevant parties
- Upsell to existing clients
- Liaise with clients regarding any product or service issue they may have
- Liaise with relevant departments regarding client-specific issues
- Capture client information on company systems
- Ensure the Home User client information is up to date
- Identify correct products for clients
- Follow up with clients and provide constant feedback
- Keep up to date with company products and services
- Manage and escalate the sales queue
- Technical support and troubleshooting experience
- Internal sales experience will be to your advantage
Education & Qualification
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Any IT or Sales-related qualifications will be to your advantage
- Client service orientation, with a pleasant and efficient telephone manner
- Attention to detail is essential
- Unquestionable honesty and reliability
- High level of enthusiasm and energy is essential
- Excellent numerical and accuracy skills
- Computer literacy – must be able to effectively use a variety of applications such as MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and other external packages for support functions
- Well-spoken with an ability to communicate verbally and in writing with 100% accuracy in a format that is easily understandable
- Ability to work under pressure and to take personal responsibility for results
- Able to work as part of a team in an open-plan informal environment
